This book consists of satirical pictures. Black humor, sarcasm, satire or creative madness are presented in each image. It's not One Big Story. Each drawing is a separated narrative, every comic-page presents a short story.For some reason, Russia differs from other countries. I know exactly, this reason isn't because of me. In this sense, there's a lot for Russian artist to portray. Weird or foolish, funny and sad at the same time, absurd and irrational events are reflected in my art. However, these caricatures contain metaphors. They are the allegorical figures of speech. And they are surreal too. But events which happen around me, aren't they surrealIn fact, I laugh at myself. I depict the reality like a distorted essence. Together with a grotesque, an allegory, and even a mockery. Please, don't judge me too harshly. There are a lot of places and situations where a laugh is inappropriate or dangerous. So, I try to laugh and joke where it's always allowed -- in my own mind and on a paper.Someone interprets my work as a madness, another one -- as a revelation.
